David Puckett provides executive leadership in developing a relational and consultative model for GuideStone’s sales and growth areas, providing leadership to GuideStone Advisors, GuideStone Agency Services, enterprise business development and sales for health plans and retirement.

Before joining GuideStone in June 2023, Puckett was a trustee from 2014 to 2022. Puckett most recently worked as a senior vice president and area business leader with Regions Bank Private Wealth Management; he worked for 27 years in the wealth management and trust area for Regions Bank.

The son of a state missionary in Alabama and the grandson and great-grandson of Southern Baptist pastors, Puckett has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Alabama. He is a certified public accountant (CPA), a Certified Investment Management Analyst^® (CIMA^®) and a Certified Wealth Strategist^® (CWS^®)
