Mark Borchgardt leads the Finance and Accounting, Actuarial and Support Services areas at GuideStone.
Mr. Borchgardt joined GuideStone Financial Resources’ Finance and Accounting staff in 1996. Since then, he has held different positions at GuideStone, including leading Financial Reporting, Retirement and Investment Product Development and Strategic Planning. He previously served as managing director of Retirement Services with responsibility for Retirement Operations and Product Management. He most recently served as chief services and operations officer.
Prior to joining GuideStone, Mr. Borchgardt spent a number of years in the financial industry, primarily in public accounting and banking. He earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Baylor University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA).
