Alex Lovorn is a licensed property and casualty church insurance professional in the state of Alabama. He is dedicated to serving ministries and Christian organizations by providing customized programs and coverage. From working with you to craft the right property and liability program to counseling you on risk management, he is committed to building a lasting relationship with your ministry.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Alabama, and his master’s in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He joined the Property and Casualty team at GuideStone® in 2021 and, before that, served full time on staff at a local church working with teenagers and college students. His love for the local church and commitment to the furtherance of the Gospel motivates him to serve his clients well so they can focus their time and resources on the mission that God has called them to fulfill.
In addition to serving churches’ property and casualty needs, Alex and his wife, Allison, have a son, Elijah, and are actively serving and leading in their local church. He believes that our primary concern should be to do the will of God and then trust Him with the rest, which is reflected in the following verse:
But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33, ESV).
