Sally met and fell in love with Dickie Moore at her small‑town church in Mulberry, Florida. Together, they shared 60 years of marriage, faithfully serving in ministry while raising their four children.
After decades of pastoring churches across the globe (Hawaii, Florida, Texas and Central Asia), the practical realities of aging and financial planning came into focus. Unable to fully prepare for retirement, the Moores exhausted their savings. Providentially, a local Associational Missionary introduced them to Mission:Dignity® and helped them apply for assistance.
“Mission:Dignity is just one way God has supplied my needs,” Sally shares. “I praise him when that monthly amount comes in. I am able to pay my bills, tithe and even give to mission causes I still love to support.”
Following a battle with dementia, Dick passed away in 2023. But Sally remains active in her local church — playing piano in services, visiting the sick and serving wherever she is needed.
Now at 81, Sally is thankful that she and many other recipients can live their later years with dignity through the financial assistance Mission:Dignity provides.
Despite all the struggles Sally has faced, she says, “God is good and meets all my needs. I have had a wonderful life, and I love bragging on God, who has been my center and provider!”
