Life is stressful. The constant juggling act of work, family and service can leave you feeling overloaded and weary. GuideStone® and our long-term disability provider, Unum®, are here to help.

Through Unum’s Employee Assistance Program and Work/Life Balance, GuideStone members enrolled in a long-term disability plan have 24/7 access to confidential assistance on their phone or computer. The plan members’ dependents, parents and parents-in-law are also eligible for these programs.

The Employee Assistance Program is designed to help you lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work. Call Unum for confidential access to a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who can help you with:

  • Stress, depression and anxiety
  • Relationship issues
  • Family and parenting problems
  • Anger, grief and loss
  • And more

Work/Life Balance

You can reach out to a work-life specialist for help with balancing work and life issues through a simple phone call. Unum’s work-life specialists can answer your questions and help you find resources in your community that include:

  • Child care
  • Elder care
  • Legal questions
  • Identity theft
  • Financial services, debt management and credit report issues, even reducing your medical/dental bills!

Help is easy to access.
