Install or update antivirus software.
Run an antivirus scan on all your computers to ensure that they are not infected with a virus or malware. Also, make sure your computer’s operating software is up-to-date.
Change your passphrase.
Change your passphrase for GuideStone, your email account and/or any other accounts that shared the same password.
What should you do in the event of identity theft?
Know signs that you may be a victim of identity theft.
Unexpected entries or inaccurate information on your credit reports
Phone calls or letters from debt collectors on something you didn’t authorize
Bills and statements that you normally receive via U.S. Mail® have stopped arriving
Unexpectedly denied for credit or offered at a high interest rate

Request a fraud alert.
Contact one of the three credit bureaus and request that a fraud alert be added to your file. This will require the bureaus to take additional steps to verify your identity. Once you contact one bureau, they will notify the other two.
